BTS has achieved a new milestone in France with their latest album.
On the 28th, BigHit Music announced that BTS’s fifth full-length album ‘ARIRANG’ received Platinum certification in the Album category from the Syndicat National de l’Édition Phonographique (SNEP).
The certification is awarded to albums that reach the equivalent of 100,000 units through a combined total of physical sales, downloads, and streams.
This marks BTS’s fourth Platinum certification in France, following ‘MAP OF THE SOUL: 7,’ ‘Proof,’ and ‘LOVE YOURSELF 結 ANSWER.’
According to BigHit Music, “‘ARIRANG’ earned ‘Gold’ just six days after release and climbed to ‘Platinum’ in about a month,” adding that it reflects the group’s continued performance in the region.
Meanwhile, BTS will continue their North American tour with performances scheduled at Sun Bowl Stadium in El Paso on May 2–3. The tour spans 85 shows across 34 cities.
