LUN8 member Kael is going viral as he takes on his first-ever acting role since debut.
He will meet viewers as Kim Nam-hoon in SBS’s new Friday–Saturday drama Manager Kim, which premieres on the 26th.
The series adapts the Naver webtoon of the same name. It’s a revenge action drama about an ordinary father who goes up against a dangerous man to find his missing daughter.
Kael’s character, Kim Nam-hoon, is a rising volleyball star at Songin High School, known for his handsome looks and standout physique. According to agency Fantagio, “The Kim Nam-hoon played by Kael will bring a fresh, teenage flutter with his subtle chemistry with Kim Min-ji (played by Seo Su-min), the daughter of Manager Kim (played by So Ji-sub).”
Manager Kim premieres on the 26th at 9:50 p.m., while LUN8 is gearing up for a July comeback and is in the final stages of preparing their new album. Fans are watching closely to see if this project will cement Kael’s status as the next big ‘acting idol.’
