The cast and crew of SBS’s Friday–Saturday drama My Royal Nemesis will head to Phu Quoc, Vietnam, for an incentive trip from July 7 to 10 to celebrate the show’s runaway success.
On the 11th, MyDaily reported that this will be the first overseas incentive trip in six years since COVID-19, with most of the cast and crew expected to join.
Fans are especially buzzing as leads Lim Ji-yeon and Heo Nam-joon are confirmed to take part.
My Royal Nemesis has dominated the TV-OTT integrated buzz rankings, placing No.1 for three consecutive weeks in the first week of June. Lim Ji-yeon is drawing praise for a tour de force performance tantamount to playing four distinct personas, while Heo Nam-joon serves up “legendary” visuals every episode.
Additionally, according to analysis released by the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute, the series scored a brand reputation index of 10,091,011 points: participation index 2,651,203; media index 2,667,434; communication index 2,161,818; community index 1,387,233; and viewership index 1,223,323 — high marks across the board.
Meanwhile, My Royal Nemesis is on a ratings hot streak, with episode 10 peaking at 10.4% according to Nielsen Korea, and it continues to garner major love on global streaming platforms.
