With only two episodes left, SBS’s hit Friday-Saturday drama My Royal Nemesis is racing toward its finale — and the cast just dropped a viral bombshell by revealing their personal picks for the show’s most iconic scenes. Leads Lim Ji-yeon, Heo Nam-joon, and Jang Seung-jo shared the moments that had viewers hooked with heart-fluttering excitement and edge-of-your-seat twists.

Lim Ji-yeon, who delivers a delicate yet powerful performance as Shin Se-ri, chose the ending of Episode 7. The fairytale-like sequence captured Shin Se-ri charging straight ahead to keep her promise to Cha Segye (played by Heo Nam-joon), quickly becoming a hot topic. "Shin Se-ri says, 'It’s okay if I fall apart, it’s okay if I break,' and lays her heart bare," Lim said. "It’s the most 'Shin Se-ri' she’s ever been — a moment filled with pure honesty and courage toward Cha Segye — so I’m especially attached to it."

Heo Nam-joon, who’s been sending viewers’ heart rates soaring as Cha Segye, picked the explosive Episode 3 “handprint contract” scene. "It was the moment I felt the deepest immersion while filming, and it’s also where Shin Se-ri and Cha Segye’s relationship truly begins, so it left a strong impression on me," he recalled. He added, "I didn’t realize it while acting, but watching the broadcast, I was amazed at how perfectly the camera movement, lighting, editing, and music all clicked together."

Jang Seung-jo, who brings an icy tension to the series with a textbook-level villain performance, chose the Episode 2 “Kang Hee-bin possession meme” scene. He explained, "It most directly showcases our drama’s unique tone and direction, instantly pulling viewers in," revealing a sharp read on the show’s identity.

Beyond the cast’s picks, other unforgettable highlights — like the duo’s intense first encounter in the "street flower duel" and the notorious "wrist kiss" that kept viewers up all night — have been setting the internet ablaze and drawing explosive reactions.

Meanwhile, My Royal Nemesis, which has cranked up curiosity to the max with its unpredictable twists, airs its final episode on the 20th and will be available for rewatch on Netflix.
