Announcer Kwak Min-sun has announced plans to take legal action against malicious content circulating online.
On April 14, her agency Starit Entertainment stated that it is pursuing legal measures against false information, threats, defamation, insults, and invasion of privacy across online platforms and social media.
The agency said it is collecting evidence through monitoring and fan reports and has already initiated legal proceedings against several individuals. It added that those responsible will be held accountable regardless of anonymity.
Earlier, Kwak Min-sun shared on social media that she had been receiving malicious messages and threats, including claims that she received death threats following controversy related to her free agency status.
She stated that she is filing criminal complaints over ongoing harassment, including threats, insults, and sexual harassment.
Kwak Min-sun began her career as an announcer in 2016 and has since been active in sports and esports broadcasting. Her husband, Song Min-kyu, is a footballer for FC Seoul.
