ADOR appears to have greenlit Minji’s return to NewJeans.
On the 7th, ADOR posted "HAPPY MINJI DAY" on NewJeans’ official social accounts along with a photo of cookies.
They match the cookies Minji personally handed to fans at her birthday café event.
Previously, the members had been in an exclusive-contract dispute with ADOR since November 2024 and lost the first trial last October. After that, Haerin, Hyein, and Hanni signaled their returns one by one. However, ADOR terminated its contract with Danielle, and Minji was reportedly still in talks about returning.
With ADOR publicly celebrating Minji’s birthday, it now feels virtually certain that she will rejoin the group.
Fans reacted, saying, "When is OT5 NewJeans coming?" and "Minji, we miss you."
