As BLACKPINK member and actress Jisoo continues to face family-related controversy, a new claim suggests she had already distanced herself from her older brother over a year ago.
Reporter-turned-YouTuber Lee Jin-ho stated on his channel that “as of May 2025, Jisoo has cut off contact with her older brother.” He explained that at the time, a whistleblower post surfaced online accusing the brother, identified as A, of illegal filming, and that trust within the family reportedly broke down afterward. He further claimed that the separation extended beyond Jisoo to much of the family.
According to the report, A later changed his phone number and reduced contact with people around him. Based on this, it was suggested that Jisoo may not have been in a position to be aware of or involved in subsequent personal allegations related to him.
The video also addressed speculation that Jisoo was involved in establishing her agency BLISSOO. Lee Jin-ho said that while A may have offered limited assistance at a family level, he did not take part in management and did not receive salary or shares. He added that A’s name does not appear among key executives in official corporate records.
Another point raised in the report was the correction of the Netflix series ‘Boyfriend on Demand’ end credits. When the show was released, A’s name appeared in the credits, which drew attention. It was later explained as a result of temporary production materials being used. According to the claim, Jisoo raised concerns after becoming aware of the issue and requested that the name be removed.
Jisoo’s side has previously stated through legal counsel that it will take firm action against false information linking unrelated family matters to the artist. The agency also clarified that it is not providing financial or legal support to the individual and has no plans to do so.
