Actor Yoo Hae Jin is making headlines after donating ₩100 million to Asan Medical Center to support cancer treatment.
On the 13th, Asan Medical Center announced that Yoo Hae Jin donated ₩100 million to help fund treatment for cancer patients.
Yoo said, "I decided to donate in the hope that patients can overcome their grueling battles and return to everyday life," adding, "I wish for many cancer patients to receive care more comfortably and safely in a better environment."
Previously, Yoo donated ₩50 million each in 2022 and 2023 to support pediatric patients and encourage medical staff exhausted by COVID-19. The hospital stated that Yoo’s contribution will be used to build advanced treatment systems and improve the care environment for cancer patients.
Meanwhile, after the film The King’s Warden surpassed 10 million moviegoers, Yoo also won the Grand Prize in the Film category at the 62nd Baeksang Arts Awards.
