Comedian Jae-hyung Jeong, cradling his newborn son, is winning praise for a heartfelt act of kindness.
On the 9th, Jeong shared on his Instagram along with a photo, "Yesterday, my son was born healthy at 3.25 kg," announcing the happy news.
In the photo, Jeong beams with joy as he holds his newborn in his arms.
Jeong admitted, "My baby came into the world earlier than expected," adding, "I was really worried something might go wrong because it was so sudden." He then expressed relief: "Thankfully, our baby arrived healthy. I couldn't be more grateful."
Jeong added, "I learned there are babies like ours who arrive early and need a helping hand," and, with the message "Sending warmth in our baby's name," he donated 10 million KRW to the Korean Red Cross.
He concluded, "I hope warmth reaches every new life in this world," sharing, "I told my baby that men cry three times in their lives, and today is the first—so cry your heart out," revealing his deep affection.
Fans reacted, saying, "Huge congratulations," "The baby is so adorable," and "Your kindness is truly heartwarming."
Meanwhile, Jeong debuted in 2014 as a 29th-class KBS public-recruit comedian. He has since been actively running the 'Psick University' YouTube channel with Min-su Kim and Yong-ju Lee. In November last year, Jeong married his non-celebrity girlfriend, who is nine years his junior.
