Actors Lee Do-hyun and Lim Ji-yeon were reportedly spotted attending Kim Sung-cheol’s musical DEATH NOTE, and fans can’t get over how much Lee and Kim look alike.
On May 19, multiple posts across social media and online communities claimed that Lee Do-hyun and Lim Ji-yeon came to watch Kim Sung-cheol’s performance in the musical DEATH NOTE.
Lee Do-hyun and Kim Sung-cheol previously worked together in the 2020 Netflix series Sweet Home Season 1, playing Lee Eun-hyuk and Jung Ui-myeong, respectively. At the time, netizens commented, “Their overall vibe when they smile is so similar,” “Their upturned eyes and the way their lips curl look identical,” and “I’d believe they were real brothers,” showing intense interest in their lookalike visuals.
Additionally, Lim Ji-yeon—Lee Do-hyun’s girlfriend—and Kim Sung-cheol are close senior-junior classmates from the Korea National University of Arts’ Acting Department, just one year apart. Along with their on-set ties, being tight-knit college alumni is often cited as a key reason they’ve maintained such a steady friendship.
Meanwhile, Kim Sung-cheol is currently appearing in the Disney+ series Gold Land, which drops new episodes every Wednesday. After completing his military service, Lee Do-hyun has signaled a busy comeback and has confirmed the new Netflix series Grand Galaxy Hotel as his next project.
