K-pop superstars BTS are launching an official pop-up store in Busan.
Shinsegae Department Store announced on the 4th that, ahead of BTS’s Busan stops for their world tour on June 12–13, it will unveil an official pop-up at Shinsegae Centum City.
Co-planned by Shinsegae Department Store and HYBE, the pop-up will run from June 5 to 14, operating at the B1 Event Hall and the B2 Hyper Stage inside Centum City. Notably, the merch shop on B1 will operate on an advance reservation basis.
Along with a distinctive Busan-inspired setup and a wide range of merchandise, the pop-up will feature multiple interactive experiences. At the ‘What is your Arirang?’ zone, visitors can submit their answers via QR code and watch messages aggregate in real time on an LED screen to form a massive ‘Arirang’ logo media artwork. Fans can also join the ‘Design Your Own Vinyl’ program to create a personalized vinyl design and print the result as a postcard to take home—building major anticipation.
Meanwhile, to celebrate their debut anniversary on June 13, BTS will run the ‘BTS THE CITY ARIRANG - BUSAN’ project across Busan through the end of June.
