Shocking buzz from day one: rising stars Kim Hye-jun, Kang Hoon, Cha Woo-min, and ITZY’s Yuna came together for the first script reading of the upcoming tvN Monday–Tuesday drama My Bias, My Boss, and the energy was off the charts.
On the 24th, the team behind tvN’s new series My Bias, My Boss unveiled photos and details from a passion-fueled table read.
With the rallying cry “My Bias, My Boss, let’s go!” the lead cast gathered in one place. Despite it being their first official meet-up, each actor slipped right into character, instantly creating a warm, upbeat vibe. In a scene featuring the wildly popular idol group D.N.X, the room reportedly erupted with excitement—so intense it felt like an actual concert venue. The cast even chanted the members’ names together, showing just how much love they already have for the project.
Based on the hit Naver Webtoon ‘My Brother Is An Idol,’ My Bias, My Boss follows rookie employee Nam Da-reum, who tries to meet her “bias” and accidentally ends up becoming his company’s newest hire—leading to a chaotic, feel-good office coming-of-age romance.
The synergy among today’s in-demand leads stood out. Kim Hye-jun perfectly embodied the bright and bubbly newcomer Nam Da-reum, bringing refreshing energy to the room. Kang Hoon transformed into Kang Ha-gi, a perfectionist at work but adorably clumsy in love—promising a swoon-worthy mix of cold charisma and unexpected sweetness.
Cha Woo-min plays Lee Chan, Nam Da-reum’s ultimate “bias” and an idol, dialling up the tension with dazzling visuals and undeniable idol aura. Yuna takes on actress Yoon Choi, whose stunning looks and shy smile hide an icy gaze—heightening the drama’s immersion.
Set to flood living rooms with dopamine this summer, My Bias, My Boss premieres August 3 at 8:50 p.m. KST on tvN and will also be available to stream on TVING.
