Mnet is launching a new dating show fronted by rappers who first broke out on Show Me the Money.

On the 24th, Mnet announced on its official social media that it is recruiting female contestants to meet these rappers. The notice teased, “Rappers from Show Me the Money are looking for girlfriends?” and added, “We’re casting women who could spark a new connection with Korea’s blunt, instinct-driven rappers in the summer of 2026.”

The series is expected to be a dating reality featuring rappers who rose to fame through a hip-hop survival show. It will blend the intense, high-stakes energy of music competitions with the butterflies of romance for a fresh new format.

Applications for female contestants are open from today until the 30th. Eligibility: women aged 19 or older who were born on or before June 24, 2007.

This move also signals an expansion of the Show Me the Money IP. First airing in 2012, Show Me the Money is Korea’s longest-running hip-hop survival program. The 12th season, which aired from January to April this year, set a new record when about 36,000 people applied during the open rapper auditions. The season, which wrapped in April, crowned Kim Ha-on (HAON) as the winner.

After years of drawing in young viewers with hip-hop survival formats, Mnet is now betting big on romance centered around rappers. All eyes are on how these performers—known for their fierce stage personas—will show a different kind of charm inside a dating reality show.
