Gary, the singer formerly of the duo Leessang, personally stepped up for traffic duty to keep his son safe on the way to school.

On the 24th, Gary posted a photo to his Instagram Story with the caption, "Dad squad on duty." In the picture, he stands by the road in front of an elementary school, casually dressed with a bucket hat and sunglasses.

What really stood out was the large flag in his hand. The yellow flag Gary held read "Children Crossing" and "Stop." He joined the Green Mothers’ Association traffic safety activity—an initiative where parents help ensure kids get to school safely.

Stationed at a crosswalk, Gary guided students during their morning commute. As an elementary school parent himself, his responsible volunteer work delivered a warm dose of goodwill.

Gary debuted in the music industry in 1996 with the group Smurfs, later performing with X-Teen and Honey Family. In 2002, he teamed up with Gil to form the hip-hop duo Leessang, earning widespread love.

In 2017, Gary married a non-celebrity 10 years his junior, and the couple welcomed a son the same year.
