Byun Yo-han is turning heads with a bold new role — he’s becoming a shaman.

On the 29th, the team behind the film Son Eopneun Nal announced its cast and confirmed the start of filming.

The story follows Woo-jin (played by Ahn Jae-hong), who is set to move into a new home on the most auspicious day when his wife Hee-yeon (Ha Yoon-kyung) begins showing disturbing signs. He crosses paths with Tae-joo (Byun Yo-han), a shaman who insists she must undergo a spirit-calling ritual, and a single day spirals into a tense chain of events. Byun Yo-han leads the film as Tae-joo, a gifted shaman and apprentice to a master, commanding the screen with a powerful presence.

The film is directed by Huh Jung, who masterfully built nail-biting tension from everyday cracks in reality with works like hide-and-seek and Jangsanbeom. With his acclaimed genre instincts, anticipation is high for the fresh suspense and deep immersion he will deliver this time.

Meanwhile, Son Eopneun Nal began principal photography on the 14th and is now shooting in earnest.
