Netflix original series Teach You a Lesson is taking the world by storm, and its "final boss" villain Lee Bong-jun just dropped a tantalizing tease about where his character could head in Season 2.

On the 2nd, global magazine Boldpage unveiled a Pictorial and interview with Lee Bong-jun.

In the interview conducted alongside the photoshoot, when asked "If Jo Gyu-cheol shows up in Season 2, what would he be like?", Lee answered candidly, "Personally, I’d like to see him rehabilitated and living the right way, but he did too many bad things." He added, "One thing’s for sure: if he appears in Season 2, he’ll either be firmly on the side of good, or he’ll be even more evil than he is now."

Previously, Lee Bong-jun delivered a commanding performance as the ultimate villain Jo Gyu-cheol in Teach You a Lesson. He led intricately orchestrated crimes with chilling precision while wearing the mask of a remorseful inmate, nailing the duplicitous shifts between a sickeningly contrite facade and an ice-cold true nature — earning raves from viewers around the world.

After the release, fans reacted, saying, "I hope Jo Gyu-cheol appears in Season 2 too," "His acting is incredible," and "How can someone with such a kind face do that?"

Meanwhile, according to Netflix’s official site Netflix Tudum on the 1st, Teach You a Lesson ranked No. 1 for four consecutive weeks on Netflix’s Global Top 10 Non-English TV list and rose into the all-time Top 5 Korean series. The feat surpasses Song Hye-kyo’s The Glory, making it the No. 5 most-watched Korean Netflix original of all time.
