SaJa Boys, the boy group from the Netflix animated film K-Pop Demon Hunters (KDH), is now set to carry their activities into the real world.
On November 13, the Korean Music Performers Association (KoMPA) announced that all five vocal artists of SaJa Boys have officially registered as members. The new registrants include Danny Chung and samUIL Lee, joining existing members Andrew Choi, Neckwav, and Kevin Woo — the actual vocal leads behind the group featured in KDH.
Andrew Choi, who placed third on SBS’s K-Pop Star Season 2, is a recognized producer known for creating hit songs for artists such as SHINee, EXO, and NCT. Kevin Woo, formerly of U-KISS, remains active through solo performances, musicals, and various other projects. The remaining members continue to work across producing, songwriting, and vocal performance in their respective fields.
KoMPA is the only music performance rights management organization designated by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. It operates a transparent settlement and distribution system to strengthen trust while protecting performers’ rights. Jo Hyun, Team Leader of the Overseas DB Team at KoMPA, highlighted the importance of voluntary artist participation as K-pop content grows globally, saying, “As music produced and released in Korea is consumed worldwide, we aim to continue providing a foundation for both domestic and international performers to secure the rights they deserve.”
