Rising actors Kim Hye-yoon (29) and Lomon (26) are bringing a wildly unconventional romance to the small screen.
On December 15, SBS's new Friday–Saturday drama Human From Today (hereafter 'Human From Today') unveiled character posters for Eun-ho and Kang Si-yeol, played by Kim Hye-yoon and Lomon, signaling the start of a full-on “messy human-world romance.”
The drama follows a chaotic fantasy love story between an MZ gumiho who has zero interest in becoming human and a man overflowing with self-love.
The character posters tease the duo’s intertwined fate: Eun-ho, the gumiho world's beloved "problem child," smiles sweetly as illustrations of multiple tails and a fox bead hint at her identity. Rather than stacking virtue to become human, she spends money and avoids good deeds — summed up by the line, “Good deeds? Far away. Men? Even farther.”
Meanwhile, Kang Si-yeol — a world-class soccer player who may be arrogant but is never lazy — commands attention with a confident gaze. A star striker for a major overseas club, he’s built a flawless career through relentless effort.
With the unexpected arrival of Eun-ho, viewers are eager to see what disrupts his structured world.
Promising fresh chemistry between Kim Hye-yoon and Lomon, Human From Today premieres Friday, January 16 at 9:50 PM.
