BTS just sent global fans into a laughing frenzy with a hilariously chaotic 'SWIM' poolside live clip.
On March 31, the YouTube channel BANGTANTV posted an approximately three-minute video titled 'BTS (Bangtan Sonyeondan) 'SWIM' Live Clip II. (Swimming Pool ver.)'. In it, the members belt out their new track 'SWIM' with a swimming pool as their backdrop.
Unlike a typical music video or live clip, this one leans hard into comedy. Jimin holds a cocktail that looks wildly out of place for a pool, while Jungkook splashes water on RM as he sings under an umbrella.
V and Jin crack fans up as they squeeze into kiddie duck floaties, and Suga handing Jimin a dried pollock fillet (hwangtaepo) — totally mismatched for a pool — takes the slapstick to another level.
At the end, the members tease a group plunge into the pool — cutting right before the splash — which only amped up fans' curiosity.
Fans reacted with comments like "BTS got me dead," "I can't even gauge how big they're about to blow up," "Their live vocals are insane even in this chaos," and "Classic BTS B-grade humor."
Meanwhile, with 'SWIM', BTS topped both the 'Billboard Global 200' and 'Global Excl. U.S.' charts — even sweeping spots No. 1 through No. 13 on the 'Global Excl. U.S.' chart.
