BTS member V is drawing massive attention after revealing he’s diving headfirst into studying English.
On the 30th, V posted a short clip to his Instagram Story with the caption, "I’m locking in for real this time no excuses."
The video shows V starting his day early with an English conversation lesson. He zeroes in on the native speaker’s pronunciation, then immediately repeats it, fully immersed. In just a few words, V made it clear he’s determined to study English. RM cheered him on in the comments, writing, "You’re doing great."
V’s move is getting extra spotlight amid the recent buzz over BTS’s English skills. Earlier, fashion designer Lee Jung-woo — actor Jun Ji-hyun’s mother-in-law — stirred controversy by posting on social media, "A leader who speaks English and kids who still can’t speak English even after 10 years. I love you all anyway."
Meanwhile, on the 20th, BTS dropped their 5th full-length album, 'Arirang,' and on the 21st they connected with fans through a comeback live performance in Gwanghwamun, Seoul.
