Actor Shin Hye-sun (36) is racing ahead with a nonstop schedule as she gears up for her new series’ premiere.
According to an April 17 report by Xportsnews, Shin Hye-sun has been offered a role in SBS’s new drama DASH and is said to be positively reviewing the offer.
DASH follows prosecutor Min Hwa-young, who faces her husband at the center of a murder case and pursues the truth while torn between love and justice. Shin Hye-sun has been offered the role of Min Hwa-young, a chief prosecutor at the Seoul Central District Prosecutors’ Office.
Previously, Shin Hye-sun confirmed the Netflix series 24bun-ui 1 Romance as her next project. She will also return to the small screen on the 25th with tvN’s new weekend drama Eunmilhan Gamsa, where she’s set to deliver a heart-fluttering romance with younger co-star Gong Myung (31).
If her casting in DASH is finalized, Shin Hye-sun will have swiftly locked in not only an upcoming release and her next project, but even her next-next one—once again proving herself to be a true “it” actor.
Fans reacted heatedly to the news, saying, “She’s seriously working so hard,” “Shin Hye-sun doing a genre piece? I’m so excited,” and “She never rests—she works like an ox.”
Meanwhile, DASH is reportedly being discussed for SBS’s Wednesday–Thursday lineup in 2027.
