Comedian Park Myung-soo has officially ended his long-running partnership with his manager and is setting out on a new path.
According to industry sources on the 17th, Park recently wrapped up his collaboration with manager-director Han Kyung-ho. After extensive discussions, the two decided to go their separate ways and are said to be supporting each other's next chapters.
Han has worked with Park for nearly two decades, gaining public recognition since the MBC variety show Infinite Challenge days. The oft-quoted moment, "Kyung-ho, go buy coffee. Not yours," mentioned through cast members' playful exposes on the program, remains a classic to this day. He later appeared on the JTBC variety show Bapbeori Yeonguso Jobs, drawing buzz after revealing his annual salary was around 100 million won.
Because the two continued to work together until recently through the YouTube channel Halmyungsoo, news of their split is drawing even more attention. Insiders, however, say there was no conflict — it was simply a natural transition as they chose different directions.
Meanwhile, Park recently signed with CP Entertainment, a Coupang affiliate established in 2023 that is rapidly expanding by combining talent management and content production. Its roster currently includes Shin Dong-yup, Lee Soo-ji, Ji Ye-eun, Kim Kyu-won, and more.
