Actor Yoo Ji-tae had viewers in stitches with a fierce psychological battle over a single snack. Footage of him solemnly tracking the "Dujjonku (short for 'Dubai chewy cookie')" disappearance pushed fans' laugh buttons hard.
On the 20th, the VIVO TV YouTube channel uploaded an episode of Yeon-gi-ui Seong featuring Yoo Ji-tae as a guest. Yeon-gi-ui Seong is a mockumentary-style project starring Kim Eui-sung, planned, directed, written, and co-starring Im Hyung-joon.
In the newly released video, Yoo appears as the special guest on a freshly launched virtual talk show, Suda-ui Seong. From the moment he walked in, his overwhelming visuals and commanding presence took over the room.
When Im Hyung-joon complimented his looks, Yoo replied, "I'm watching my weight for my next project," showing off his strict self-discipline. The talk soon shifted into a subtle showdown between Yoo and Kim Eui-sung over who should play Han Myeong-hoe in a film.
Asked whether he'd seen Kim Eui-sung's portrayal of Han Myeong-hoe in the movie The Face Reader, Yoo said, "Honestly, I didn't watch it back then. If I'd used that as a reference, my Han Myeong-hoe today wouldn't exist," leaving Kim momentarily flustered. His deadpan delivery and straight face sent the set into laughter.
But the real incident hit during a break in filming. Despite being on a strict diet, Yoo's treasured snack—Dujjonku—vanished without a trace.
The culprits? None other than Kim Eui-sung and Im Hyung-joon. Unable to resist their hunger, they secretly ate the snack and then acted like nothing happened. When Yoo asked where it went, they insisted, "Maybe your manager mixed things up."
Yoo didn't let it slide. Sharply pressing them, he shot back, "Why blame my manager? Are you insulting my family right now?" Instantly, the atmosphere flipped into a tense, crime-thriller-style interrogation.
Then came the smoking gun. Spotting crumbs they left behind, Yoo proceeded to check their mouths despite Kim's claims of innocence. The moment their lips parted, the not-yet-swallowed snack debris gave them away, and the set erupted.
Wearing a devastated look, Yoo dropped one cutting line—"Don't live like that"—and walked off. Left behind, the pair scrambled to rinse their mouths, adding to the chaos and laughs.
Fans reacted, saying, "He's so serious that it makes it even funnier," "This combo is insane," and "Watching this had me on edge."
Meanwhile, Yoo Ji-tae's film The King's Warden, in which he plays Han Myeong-hoe, continues its box-office run, surpassing 16.6 million admissions.
