BLACKPINK’s Jisoo has stated she has no connection to her older brother’s alleged crimes, but scrutiny is intensifying as some point to past project credits that list her brother as an agency head.

On the 21st, some netizens raised questions after pointing out that the production credits for Netflix’s Boyfriend on Demand, which features Jisoo, include the name of the person identified as her older brother. They also claimed that the same name appears as a representative in the credits of another project, Newtopia.

A day earlier, law firm Kim & Chang emphasized, "The issues currently being raised are entirely unrelated to the artist and BLISSOO," adding, "Much of what is being circulated online amounts to unverified speculation or clearly false information." Even so, the controversy shows no signs of dying down.

Regarding the cancellation of Jisoo’s scheduled airport departure media coverage, fashion marketing company DIMACO stated, "Due to unavoidable internal reasons, the media schedule for Jisoo’s airport departure on the 22nd has been canceled." Nevertheless, online speculation surrounding Jisoo’s family continues to spread.

BLISSOO further warned that linking the artist’s name, likeness, or image to unrelated matters for consumption and dissemination constitutes a clear infringement of rights and defamation, and said it will pursue all possible civil and criminal legal actions.
