BTS have made their long-awaited return to variety content with ‘Run BTS! 2.0,’ once again showcasing their signature humor and chemistry.
At 9 p.m. on April 23, BTS released the first episode of their self-produced variety series ‘Run BTS! 2.0’ through their official channels and the global fan platform Weverse.
The episode opened with a “room-picking game” as soon as the members arrived at their lodging late at night. The situation quickly turned chaotic when four members rushed to claim the same two-person room, while Jungkook ended up securing the most comfortable three-person room for himself, drawing laughter from viewers.
Another highlight was the “zombie game,” where members, blindfolded and tasked with post-meal cleanup penalties, stumbled through the space in a series of slapstick moments. The game escalated into a playful pillow fight, with the members eventually breaking into laughter as the chaos settled.
‘Run BTS!’ — also known as “Dalbang” in Korea — first launched in 2015 and became one of the group’s most beloved in-house variety series. After a special episode in 2023, the show went on hiatus and now returns with new episodes for the first time in about three years.
New episodes of ‘Run BTS! 2.0’ will be released every Thursday at 9 p.m. via BTS’s official channels and Weverse.
