Former Jewelry member Ha Joo-yeon just dropped a candid life update—and it’s already turning heads. Appearing on former soccer player Hwang Soon-min and his wife’s YouTube channel, she openly revealed she’s currently unemployed and often worries about when she’ll finally become rich.
In the video, the trio enjoyed a casual day out in Seochon, chatting about everyday life as they strolled.
Asked about her ideal type, Ha Joo-yeon said, "I hope he’s tall. I’m on the shorter side." She added, "Above all, we have to communicate well." Joking about her situation, she quipped, "Things aren’t great for me right now," drawing laughs with her down-to-earth honesty.
What really grabbed attention was her blunt confession about the present. "These days, I’m unemployed again. I keep thinking about when I’ll be able to become rich," she admitted. She then revealed her personal positivity ritual: "When I wake up in the morning, I say ‘I will be rich’ three times."
Born in 1986 and now 39, Ha Joo-yeon joined Jewelry as part of the group’s third lineup in 2008.
Meanwhile, former Jewelry members have been active lately. Seo In-young launched a YouTube channel to connect with fans, and Lee Ji-hyun—who reinvented herself as a hair designer—opened her own salon.
