Kim Jae-won is stepping into a key role in Yumi’s Cells Season 3, bringing a new dynamic to the story.
On April 7, a press conference was held for the TVING original series, with director Lee Sang-yeob and leads Kim Go-eun and Kim Jae-won in attendance.
During the event, Kim described working with Kim Go-eun as a major strength, saying her presence helped him feel at ease on set and allowed him to learn throughout the process.
Although the two had previously appeared in the same project, they did not share scenes at the time. This new collaboration has drawn attention as they now develop their on-screen chemistry more fully.
Season 3 centers on the “return of emotions,” as Yumi begins to rediscover romance through her encounter with Soon-rok, played by Kim Jae-won.
The series will pre-release two episodes on TVING starting April 13, followed by regular broadcasts on tvN.
