K-pop group (G)I-DLE has canceled its scheduled North and Central America tour dates.

On the 20th, agency Cube Entertainment stated that it had decided to restructure the group’s North American tour.

Originally, the group planned to begin the ‘Syncopation’ world tour on August 2 (local time) in Hamilton, Canada, before visiting multiple cities including Newark, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Orlando, San Antonio, Mexico City, Los Angeles, Oakland, and Seattle.

Cube Entertainment explained that the decision was made after reviewing the group’s global strategy, local schedules, and on-site conditions. The agency added that it is preparing to meet fans with a more refined performance and expanded activities in the future.

After beginning their world tour in Seoul earlier this year and performing in regions such as Taiwan and Thailand, (G)I-DLE will continue their activities in Australia, Singapore, Japan, and Hong Kong.

Meanwhile, the group has confirmed a domestic comeback in July and is currently in the final stages of album production.
