The upcoming drama led by Shin Ha-kyun, Oh Jung-se, and Heo Sung-tae is teasing a fateful showdown among the trio.

On the 28th, MBC’s new Friday-Saturday drama ‘Fifties Professionals’ unveiled its main poster.

In the poster, Shin Ha-kyun, Oh Jung-se, and Heo Sung-tae stare ahead with scarred faces, focused expressions, and a sense of determination, building anticipation for their reunion. Though the characters have been shaped by time, their instincts and connections remain, setting up the story’s central dynamic.

‘Fifties Professionals’ follows three men who are drawn back together by a twist of fate. As they confront a past incident that forced them to turn against each other 10 years earlier, the series blends action and comedy through the lens of characters navigating the latter half of their lives.

Shin Ha-kyun plays Jeong Ho-myeong, an NIS agent who now runs a Chinese restaurant after years of inactivity. Oh Jung-se portrays Bong Je-soon, a North Korean operative who lost his memory a decade ago, while Heo Sung-tae plays Kang Beom-ryong, a high-ranking member of the Hwasan-pa organization. The three reunite on Yeongseon-do, where they begin to uncover the truth behind their shared past.

The drama carries the tagline, “Who says we’re past our prime?” highlighting its focus on experience and resilience.

Meanwhile, ‘Fifties Professionals’ will premiere on May 22 and will run for 12 episodes.
