Allegations that Netflix variety show Single's Inferno 4 contestant Guk Dong-ho was linked to school bullying have sparked a growing controversy.
On the 3rd, a lawyer identified as A, who said they specialize in representing crime victims, took to social media to share bullying they endured in school and named Guk Dong-ho as a person connected to the group of perpetrators. A claimed, "I was bullied by delinquents in middle school. The boyfriend of the person who played a central role in that group was Guk Dong-ho."
A also detailed specific incidents. Classmates allegedly hit their head with badminton rackets and placed thumbtacks on a chair, and even smeared adhesive on the locker lock so it could not be opened. They also described being publicly humiliated through a so-called "confession attack," where they were forced to kneel and pretend to confess as a form of mockery.
At the end of the post, A added, "Guk Dong-ho's agency contacted me saying they have no connection to me. Would a perpetrator remember a victim? Only the victim bleeds for life."
Born in 1993, Guk Dong-ho graduated from Korea University with a degree in Business Administration. He appeared on Single's Inferno 4 while working as an accountant and is now active as an influencer. On the show, he became the final couple with model and influencer Kim A-rin.
As of now, Guk Dong-ho has not released an official personal statement. Netflix told multiple outlets regarding the bullying allegations involving Guk Dong-ho that it "cannot be verified."
