Former LE SSERAFIM member Kim Garam is making a fresh start as an actor.
Her agency Management Gu announced on the 16th that it has signed an exclusive contract with actor Kim Garam.
They added, "We have consistently followed her YouTube activity and were deeply impressed by her potential for growth as an actor and her diligent attitude," continuing, "Seeing her work hard every day to achieve her dream and steadily improve led us to finalize the exclusive contract."
The agency stated, "To improve her acting skills, Kim Garam has continued steady training and study and has shown remarkable growth in a short period," explaining, "After internal discussions, we concluded that her future growth potential and capabilities are very high, so we decided to sign an exclusive contract."
Kim Garam debuted in May 2022 as a member of LE SSERAFIM, but left the team about two weeks later amid school bullying allegations. Recently, she launched a personal YouTube channel to reconnect with fans and share updates on her life.
