Actor Ko So-young has revealed her unexpected connection with BTS’s Jungkook’s mother.
On May 12, a video titled 'For the First Time in 35 Years Since Debut: Human Chanel Ko So-young’s Closet' was uploaded to the YouTube channel Ko So-young.
In the video, Ko So-young shared the sweet story behind a single candy on her dining table, saying, "It was a gift from Jungkook’s mom," drawing attention. She recalled, "I went to a BTS concert, and the parents were seated next to me. They were so lovely. Jungkook’s mother greeted me and said, 'I’d love to give you something, but I don’t really have anything,' then took a candy out of her pocket and handed it to me."
She added, "She gave me three—my daughter Yoon-seol ate one, I had one, and there’s one left." Ko So-young continued, "After the show, I went to greet the members and ran into Jungkook. When I told him, 'Your mom gave me candy,' he said, 'That’s the candy my mom always eats.'"
Meanwhile, BTS are currently on their 'ARIRANG' world tour. They are set to meet fans at Stanford Stadium in San Francisco, USA, on May 16–17 and 19.
