Wanna One is gifting Wannable (their official fandom) a special fan song — and the behind-the-scenes journey goes public today.
Episode 4 of the Mnet Plus original reality show WANNA ONE GO : Back to Base (WANNA ONE GO : Back to Base), dropping today (May 19), follows Wanna One as they throw themselves into making the fan song.
The members hold a blind listening session with 10 candidate tracks and share their thoughts to choose the final fan song. Some entries are self-written and self-composed by the members, raising anticipation among fans.
During the session, members try to guess each track’s creator with comments like "It sounds like someone’s style" and "I’m getting a feel for it," sparking laughs — especially when unexpected results are revealed. After hearing one of the candidates, Kim Jae-hwan quips, "Did a legendary senior write this?" showing off his sharp instincts.
This broadcast also unveils the fan song’s recording session for the first time. Seeing the members back in sync under the name Wanna One is expected to deliver a touching moment for Wannable.
Meanwhile, episode 4 of WANNA ONE GO : Back to Base, which documents the making of the fan song, premieres first on Mnet Plus at 6 p.m. KST today, followed by Mnet at 8 p.m. KST.
