Project group Wanna One is rolling out official merch, and the headline item—a brand-new light stick—is already causing a stir.
On May 6, Wanna One announced via their social channels that pre-orders for official merchandise are now open.
According to the notice, the lineup includes a striped long-sleeve tee, an amenity kit, the official light stick, and a mini light keyring. The amenity kit especially stands out, packed with a hairpin, toothbrush, towel, PVC pouch, and a sleep mask.
The official light stick will be available in limited quantities, with purchases capped at two per person. Pre-orders run through May 12, and items will begin shipping in mid-June on a rolling basis.
Fans reacted with mixed excitement and curiosity, commenting, "If you’re selling a light stick, you should at least hold a concert," "At least give us a fan meeting," and "Is there an offline event?"
Wanna One is a project group formed through the 2017 Mnet audition program PRODUCE 101 Season 2. Although they disbanded in 2019, they recently announced a reunion seven years later.
