BTS has clinched its sixth No. 1 of 2026 as title track 'SWIM' reigns over the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart.
On the latest charts dated May 23 and announced on May 19 by U.S. music outlet Billboard, the title track 'SWIM' from BTS’s fifth full-length album 'Arirang' took No. 1 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart, marking the group’s sixth No. 1 this year.
With this feat, BTS surpassed pop star Taylor Swift’s pace to become the artist with the most No. 1s on that chart in 2026 so far.
BTS is also holding strong on the main album chart, the Billboard 200. 'Arirang' ranks No. 8, securing a Top 10 spot for eight consecutive weeks. The album also posted solid results across breakdowns: No. 5 on Top Album Sales, and No. 16 on both Top Streaming Albums and Vinyl Albums. Notably, 'SWIM' has landed at No. 34 on the Hot 100 for eight straight weeks.
Meanwhile, BTS is currently on the 'BTS WORLD TOUR 'ARIRANG' IN NORTH AMERICA.' Most recently, they became the first Korean act to perform at Stanford Stadium in the U.S., delivering a show that drew explosive responses from local fans.
Starting on the 23rd (local time), the group will move to Las Vegas to keep the tour’s momentum surging.
