In a move that’s already generating buzz, BIGHIT MUSIC — the label behind BTS — is launching a free, specialty hip-hop training program for teen boys, with applications open now and a tight deadline approaching.

On May 18, BIGHIT MUSIC announced it will host 'BIGHIT MUSIC HIT IT BASE 2026' (HIT IT BASE 2026).

'HIT IT BASE 2026' is a no-cost curriculum for male teens who love hip-hop and music, helping participants turn their own stories into songs. Any male youth born between 2008 and 2016 can apply. The program welcomes those passionate about rap, hip-hop, and music overall.

Applicants can apply online via the official BIGHIT MUSIC audition website through June 28. They must submit a short video and a front-facing photo. Submissions can include various video themes, such as a rap performance clip, a self-introduction, or a self-cam introducing their favorite hip-hop tracks.

The 20 final selectees will undergo 10 intensive weekend training sessions from July 11 to August 9. The program culminates with a 'Final Show' on August 16 at Seongam Art Hall, where the 20 participants will take the stage in teams with their trainers. Choreographer Aiki will serve as MC, while rapper Now I'm Young-i joins as a special guest artist to turn up the heat.
