BIGBANG member Taeyang shocked fans by revealing he's a devoted viewer of the dating show I'm Solo, openly sharing his unexpected go-to picks.
On May 19, Taeyang guested on the Psick University YouTube channel, chatting with Lee Yong-joo, Jung Jae-hyung, and Kim Min-soo about a range of topics. During the conversation, he candidly discussed his content-watching habits.
When the Psick University members asked, "What's in Taeyang's YouTube algorithm?" he said he frequently watches science videos, EBS documentaries, and shows like Korean Cuisine and Dining. He even mentioned I Am a Natural Person, highlighting his down-to-earth tastes.
What really grabbed attention was his love for the dating show I'm Solo. Calling it "the best program," Taeyang said, "I learn a lot about life from it." He added that he hasn't caught the most recent season yet due to his tight schedule.
By contrast, when it comes to other dating shows like Single's Inferno and EXchange, Taeyang said they "feel like watching a well-produced drama," underscoring how I'm Solo stands out. He finds the raw, real portrayal of people even more compelling.
Taeyang married actor Min Hyo-rin in 2018, and they have a son. He recently made his solo comeback after about nine years with his fourth full-length album, 'QUINTESSENCE'.
