Netflix's new romantic comedy series Our Sticky Love is already going viral after unveiling character stills that spotlight the leads' wildly different charms.
Dropping on August 7, the series follows elite prosecutor Go Eun-sae (played by Ha Young), who loses her memory, and boxing coach Jang Tae-ha (played by Jung Hae-in), who claims he's her boyfriend, as they tumble into a heart-fluttering cohabitation. Their unexpected connection kick-starts a fizzy, sweet romance that's set to hook viewers.
Jung Hae-in, who plays Jang Tae-ha, turns heads with a striking duality. In one moment, he's all easygoing smiles in casual gym wear; in the next, he's sharp in a tailored suit with an intense gaze. Jung shared, "He's the kind of person who does everything he can to protect the one he loves no matter the situation, and he also has a clumsy, unexpectedly adorable side," revealing his affection for the character.
Ha Young, taking on Go Eun-sae, also captivates with her transformation into a prosecutor who has lost her memory. She explained, "'Go Ji-won,' who had been sprinting toward her goals, loses her memory and returns to her true self. Along the way, as she receives love from Jang Tae-ha and the people around her, her growth felt so touching to me."
Meanwhile, Heo Sung-tae as villain Baek Sang-gil amps up the tension with an ominous aura. Heo noted, "Baek Sang-gil is a presence that heightens the tension just by appearing," adding, "I thought hard about how to portray the temperature gap between his outward face in society and his true self," stoking even more anticipation.
Starring Jung Hae-in, Ha Young, and Heo Sung-tae, the fresh chemistry of Our Sticky Love lands on Netflix on August 7.
