ZEROBASEONE leader Sung Han-bin is stepping in as MC for Mnet’s original dance series STREET WORLD FIGHTER : Directors' War, igniting buzz ahead of the premiere.
Premiering August 18, STREET WORLD FIGHTER : Directors' War expands the franchise’s universe with a high-stakes dance survival where performance directors—who spearhead stage planning and execution—become the stars and battle it out with their works. These directors will go beyond choreography to oversee blocking, direction, and stage utilization, waging an intense war of creative showcases.
The program’s MC is Sung Han-bin, ZEROBASEONE’s leader and a widely praised dancer in the K-pop scene. Following last year’s World of Street Woman Fighter (WSWF), he returns to Mnet’s dance series, bringing deep insight into performance and steady hosting that will heighten the show’s immersion.
Ahead of the first broadcast, Sung shared, “As someone who loves dance, it’s an absolute honor to take on the MC role again,” adding, “I’ll work hard and have fun so I can be an MC who communicates clearly with viewers.”
Highlighting what sets this show apart, he said, “If previous seasons were all about dancers’ moves and battles, this time the must-watch elements are the directors’ brilliant ideas and the richly varied stage compositions.”
Meanwhile, STREET WORLD FIGHTER : Directors' War will premiere simultaneously on Mnet and tvN at 10 p.m. on August 18, and will also be available on TVING.
