BTS leader RM dropped a shocking story from his military service, revealing how a PX shopping spree on his card spiraled into a 660,000 won charge that even crashed the POS machine.
On May 20, RM went live on Weverse with J-Hope, V, and Jimin, reminiscing about their time in the military.
RM recalled becoming the first trainee at the Nonsan Training Center to break the PX (base store) point-of-sale terminal, drawing laughs. "I gave my card to some guys from the next platoon to buy snacks, and they swiped 660,000 won on it for everything from snail cream to daily necessities. That’s how the POS at Nonsan Training Center crashed," he said.
He continued, "The company commander called me in and asked, 'What on earth did you do?' I said, 'I just told them to grab some snacks,' but they bought a whole load of health-boost items to send to their moms, and the receipt had over 100 line items."
RM added with a laugh, "He came to me and bowed his head. He said, 'I'm sorry, hyung,' so I told him, 'It's okay — but snail cream? Come on.'"
Meanwhile, BTS will hold a world tour concert on June 13–14 at Busan Asiad Main Stadium to meet fans.
