On MBC’s variety show Hangout with Yoo, comedian Heo Kyung-hwan sparks laughter as he looks visibly anxious the moment he’s separated from his legendary senior, Yoo Jae-suk.
In the episode airing on the 23rd, Hangout with Yoo sends Yoo Jae-suk, Haha, Heo Kyung-hwan, and Joo Woo-jae back to the Joseon era to carry out an order from King Sejong. Among them, Yoo Jae-suk and Heo Kyung-hwan are tasked with measuring the ‘Road to Hanyang’ by walking it and recording the distance themselves.
To ensure accuracy, the two first check their stride lengths. But when a bigger-than-expected difference shows up, Heo Kyung-hwan gets flustered, drawing laughs.
Once the mission begins in earnest, things get even more entertaining. Required to split the route and move separately, Heo Kyung-hwan grows uneasy from the start, reacting almost like he has separation anxiety after parting from Yoo Jae-suk. The second he spots Yoo again, he runs over in delight, turning the set into a sea of laughter.
On the flip side, when Yoo Jae-suk is left alone, he laments having no one to chat with and finds himself missing his rhythm with Heo Kyung-hwan. Apart, the two feel an empty gap; together, they deliver explosive laughs with a fresh, unexpected chemistry.
Recently added as a fixed cast member on Hangout with Yoo, Heo Kyung-hwan is solidifying his presence as part of the so-called ‘Yoo-line’ centered around Yoo Jae-suk. Their playful bromance is expected to have viewers cracking up yet again in this episode, which airs on the 23rd at 6:30 p.m.
