Musical actor Lee Soo-bin surprised fans by announcing her marriage.

On the 23rd, Lee Soo-bin posted a heartfelt photo of a handwritten letter on her Instagram Story, personally sharing the news with fans first.

In the letter, she introduced her fiancé, writing, "I’ve met someone who, more than anyone, always takes my side and encourages me so I can boldly—and joyfully—imagine my future." She continued, "Now, I plan to make an eternal promise and draw an even happier future together with that person," revealing why she decided to marry.

She didn’t forget to sincerely thank the fans who have stayed by her side for so long. "To everyone who has always supported actor Lee Soo-bin and the person Lee Soo-bin, and shown me so much love, I wanted to personally deliver the happiest news of my life along with my gratitude," she wrote. "From here on, I’ll strive to be a warm actor who shares more stories and deeper empathy with you through the stage and my works."

She also shared a careful note for acquaintances she couldn’t reach amid the hectic wedding preparations: "To my dear friends and colleagues, if I’ve failed to contact you due to the chaos, I humbly ask for your understanding with a generous heart."

Lee Soo-bin began acting at the young age of four, growing up both on screen and on stage. Looking back on her journey, she said, "I’ve met so many wonderful people along the way, received love beyond measure, and laughed and cried together."

As news broke of Lee Soo-bin opening the second act of her life, fans reacted with excitement: "It feels like there’s a wedding boom in the musical scene these days," and "Our ‘Subdea’ (a nickname from The Man Who Laughs ) is getting married—congratulations!"
