Andouble members Zhang Hao, Kim Kyu-bin, and Han Yu-jin marked their re-debut by dropping candid behind-the-scenes stories that put their tight teamwork on full display.
On the May 26 episode of the web variety show Salon Drip, Andouble’s Zhang Hao, Kim Kyu-bin, and Han Yu-jin showed off their quick wit and playful chemistry. In particular, the older members’ warm gestures toward the youngest, Han Yu-jin, drew attention.
Recalling the day of the CSAT (Korea’s college entrance exam), Han Yu-jin shared, "The hyungs packed me a homemade lunchbox." Zhang Hao added, "I even made yubuchobap (tofu-skin sushi) by hand," while Kim Kyu-bin wondered how it tasted. Han Yu-jin laughed, "I was so grateful, but they packed so much that I walked into class with both hands full of lunchboxes. I was a bit embarrassed, worried people might think, 'Is he here to eat on exam day?'"
Zhang Hao joked, "There’s a kind of silent competition with CSAT lunchboxes. Other teams prepare them too, but we packed the most," turning the studio into a sea of laughter.
The members also opened up about everyday life and personal concerns. Asked about changes since debuting in a new team, Zhang Hao admitted, "My face has changed a lot." He explained that he started getting facial contouring massages because he was self-conscious about his cheekbones looking prominent, adding that things have "settled a lot" now. Kim Kyu-bin and Jang Do-yeon chimed in that it’s actually a "charming point."
They then shared memories from their grueling debut preparations. After a music video shoot followed by three intense days, the trio took a trip together and recounted an episode from Yangyang, Gangwon Province. "We heard Yangyang was a hotspot, but it wasn’t what we expected," said Han Yu-jin. Kim Kyu-bin explained, "We booked the wrong place, and there weren’t any stores open nearby." Zhang Hao added, "Even the business hours on the map didn’t match reality," painting a situation that was so bad it was funny.
Despite the hiccups, the members emphasized they still had a blast, making unforgettable memories—like sprinting straight into the ocean.
Meanwhile, Andouble dropped their first mini album the same day, officially kicking off promotions. Their rock-solid teamwork and unfiltered charm are already ramping up anticipation for what’s next.
