As stories from a fellow trainee who served with BTS’s V during his enlistment began drawing attention, V publicly voiced his support.

Recently, a creator shared episodes from their Army boot camp days with V on social media. They uploaded multiple videos about life in the military with V, including stories like 'Going to church with V on Christmas' and 'The game I played the most with BTS’s Taehyung at boot camp,' which quickly caught viewers’ eyes.

As the videos went viral, however, some netizens raised concerns about an invasion of privacy, arguing the creator might be oversharing details about V’s personal life. The creator ultimately decided to stop posting the videos—at which point V stepped in himself.

Commenting directly, V wrote, "Long time no see. Your memory is insane," adding, "A lot of people enjoyed and appreciated the videos you put so much effort into, but there also seemed to be a few who were worried. As for me, I had a lot of fun."

V continued, "In life, even when you mean well, people can take things differently depending on their perspective. I hope you don’t get too weighed down by every opinion," offering comfort to his former boot camp mate.

Fans are praising V for stepping up to shield his fellow trainee amid the controversy, calling him "world-class in character" and saying, "V is just being V."

Meanwhile, V enlisted in June last year, served with the Army’s 2nd Corps Military Police Special Mission Unit, and has since been discharged.
