Jannabi vocalist Choi Jung-hoon was seen tearing up on a university festival stage, and the moment is now fueling shocking speculation that there may be trouble in his relationship with actress Han Ji-min.

Recently, a video of Choi Jung-hoon crying during a university festival performance spread across online communities and YouTube. The clip shows Choi onstage at Konkuk University’s festival on May 29, gripping the mic while trying to compose himself.

With the tip of his nose turning red, Choi appeared to cry as fans in the crowd shouted messages like "Don’t cry" and "We love you." Looking bashful, he quieted the audience with a gentle "Shh."

Choi later explained that his tears were due to a sudden vocal setback. "I’ve been in a band for 12 years, and this is the first time my voice didn’t come out," he said. "So I was really flustered." He continued, "Because you all sang so loudly, I think I’ll be able to stand onstage next time without panicking. Thank you." It appears he was overwhelmed by the crowd stepping in to sing along and help complete the performance.

As the video went viral, some began to speculate that his public relationship with Han Ji-min had hit a rough patch. However, this is merely conjecture sparked by his onstage tears, and nothing has been confirmed.

Choi Jung-hoon and actress Han Ji-min have been publicly dating since 2024. The two first connected through the KBS2 music show The Seasons - Choi Jung-hoon's Night Park and later became a couple.
