Shocking and relatable — actress Song Ji Hyo got brutally honest about why she’s hesitating to get married, opening up after hearing married rapper Nucksal’s real-life advice.

In a recent video on Song Ji Hyo’s YouTube channel, rapper Nucksal appeared as a guest. Often said to look alike, the two shared a homemade meal prepared by Song Ji Hyo and dove into candid talk about marriage and parenting.

Nucksal joked that he is “still riding on people saying I look like Song Ji Hyo,” making everyone laugh. When Song Ji Hyo asked how long he has been married, he answered, “This year makes it four years.” She recalled attending his wedding in the past, and Nucksal thanked her, saying, “I was so grateful you came with Yang Se Chan.”

The conversation naturally shifted to parenting. Nucksal revealed his second child is about eight months old and that his days are packed, from helping his firstborn get to school to bathing the kids himself. He admitted it’s tough to physically play with them every day, sharing the realistic struggles of childcare.

On married life, he confessed, “We started parenting before we could really enjoy newlywed life,” adding, “Because we grew up differently, we fought a lot at first.” He then joked, “I think I finally get it now. Before that, I wasn’t even human,” drawing laughter.

He also broke down the difference between dating and marriage: “When you’re dating, you can go back to your own place and process your emotions. Once you’re married, you’re in the same space together all the time,” he said, stressing that mutual consideration and understanding are key. “Now we share hobbies and raise the kids together, and things are going well,” he added.

Listening to him, Song Ji Hyo admitted, “Hearing things like this makes me want to get married.” But she quickly added, “When I’m actually living my day-to-day life, the thought of marriage fades again. Maybe that’s why I’m still like this,” revealing her true feelings.

Nucksal teased her worries, asking, “Is that the right order? Shouldn’t you find the person to marry first?” Song Ji Hyo quipped back, “A man won’t come into my life unless I’m open to marriage,” keeping the mood light.

Meanwhile, last year on the SBS variety show Running Man, Song Ji Hyo shocked viewers by revealing she had been in a long-term relationship for eight years in the past — a relationship even her fellow members hadn’t known about.
