Actor Yoon Shi-yoon's meticulous organizing habits are going viral again.
On July 1, MBC variety show Radio Star aired a 'National Team Sons' special. Actors Ryu Soo-young, Choi Jin-hyuk, Yoon Shi-yoon, and singer Sandeul appeared and shared a range of stories.
Yoon referenced his daily routine previously revealed on the variety show My Little Old Boy. Back then, he went viral for arranging everything in his home in perfect rows and columns and keeping it spotless without a speck of dust.
"After that broadcast, I started hearing, 'So this is why you can't get married,'" Yoon said. "At first, I didn't think it was a problem. Even when they asked to film my house, I thought there was nothing worth airing." He added, "Only after watching the show did I realize I was a bit extreme."
When people compared him to the so-called 'cleaning maniac' Brian, he drew a line: "We pursue different things." Yoon explained, "I care about proportions and mise-en-scène," making everyone laugh. Finding joy in the very process of turning a messy space into an orderly one, he shared, "I relieve stress by cleaning, and I even spend four hours washing my car."
Even during his Marine Corps service, he found the hygiene inspection time genuinely exciting. Yoon revealed his unique standards: "Even now, there are almost no round objects in my home. Most things have edges and are square."
Yoon's hyper-planned lifestyle also drew attention. He said he sets minute-by-minute alarms from taking supplements after waking up to vocal exercises and gym sessions. He shocked everyone by adding that he preselects about 14 outfits per season and rotates them monthly.
Yoon debuted in a sitcom in 2009 and has since starred in King of Baking, Kim Takgu, Nokdu Flower, and Taxi Driver 3.
