Actress Kim Gyu-seon personally revealed that she is pregnant with her first child, nine years after getting married.
On the 29th, Kim posted on her Instagram, "I can finally tell you. I captured the pregnancy news and that very moment on YouTube," sharing the happy update with fans.
That same day, she also uploaded a video on her YouTube channel titled "A miracle after a long wait," announcing her pregnancy. Kim said, "I was thinking of waiting until it was certain after doing a blood test and checking the ultrasound at the hospital." She added, "My husband knew I was going to the hospital tomorrow for IVF, so he was really worried. I wanted to ease his mind even a day sooner," explaining why she decided to tell him first.
Her husband was overwhelmed with emotion. He said, "This is truly amazing. I guess everyone was right when they told us to try to relax," expressing his joy.
Kim later visited the hospital for an ultrasound. "Hearing that our Madong-ie (the baby’s nickname) is doing well really put me at ease. My heart was pounding while looking at the ultrasound," she shared excitedly. The baby is due in December.
Kim Gyu-seon debuted in 2010 and has appeared in numerous dramas, films, and web series. She married a non-celebrity of the same age in April 2017 and is now expecting her first child nine years into marriage.
