After a year-long hiatus, Baek Jong-won, CEO of The Born Korea, is making a headline-grabbing return to YouTube.

On June 5, Paik announced via his YouTube channel Baek Jong Won that he is resuming content activities.

Through the channel, Paik plans to zero in on cooking content to share Korea’s food culture with audiences at home and abroad in a fun, accessible way. His first comeback upload is the hit cooking program Baek's Cuisine, kicking off with a summer-ready recipe for "soy sauce chilled noodle soup" tailored to the early heat.

With this content, Paik is expected to spotlight Korean recipes and techniques and further amplify K-Food worldwide.

A representative from The Born Korea said, "Baek’s YouTube will return to basics and focus on cooking content, contributing to the popularization and global spread of Korean cuisine, as well as mutual growth that utilizes local ingredients."

Meanwhile, at the end of 2024, Baek halted his activities in May of the previous year due to civil complaints and accusations.
