BIGBANG member Daesung is going on record to address the viral dating rumors with KARA’s Heo Young Ji.
On the 25th, Daesung’s YouTube channel uploaded a Shorts video titled “I’ll tell you everything.” In it, he personally brings up the Daesung–Heo Young Ji dating buzz that has been dominating online communities.
He appears on screen with the caption “First dating rumor in 20 years.” Daesung says, “When I checked a portal site, I saw posts like ‘R&D Company official,’” implying he first learned about the situation from news articles.
He then questions, “If it’s an official statement, shouldn’t they talk to me first?” adding, “No one even told me, ‘It’s not true,’” drawing laughs with his trademark humor. Earlier, his agency had commented that the two are “just close colleagues,” which he cheekily referenced in the clip.
At the end of the video, he teases a full explanation. After confirming to the camera, “We’re rolling, right?” he stresses, “For real, this is real.” He begins, “I usually…” before a teaser caption announces, “The video will be uploaded today (26th) at 6 p.m.,” ramping up anticipation for what he’ll reveal.
